Today would have been my mom's 60th birthday.  Today the weather is just what she would have loved...feels like fall!!  I thought about going up to the cemetery, but then I decided to drive to the orchard instead.  She would have loved today at the orchard...

I don't know what happened to this tree, but it was right in the middle of a perfectly healthy row.  I think there has to be a good analogy here...it was bearing fruit, but it definitely isn't the kind of fruit anyone is going to pick or benefit from.  Matthew 7:17 "Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit."
