March 31...90/365

We visited the Indiana State Museum today. Millie found a mastodon!

Matt took these, but they looked so cool that I wanted to include them. We are watching the Foucault pendulum, which shows the rotation of the earth. One of the blocks is knocked down about every 8 minutes.

I've been dreaming of trying this ever since I first saw Julie & Julia. It was as delicious as I imagined.

This is my bookworm son who really wants nothing to do with team sports. I was cleaning up dinner when Matt looked outside and said, "You'll never believe it! They're playing baseball!" He, like the great dad he is, went out to pitch for a while.

Hubby has gone a little crazy...my homemade mocha. It was pretty delicious.

It was so beautiful today! The kids had a chance to play outside after dinner. Zane was moving too fast for me to get a good shot!

Quinn and his buddy Alex. Cannot believe these boys are old enough to be part of the youth group's Dessert Theater! Here they are just after serving dessert and before being transformed into super-villains.

This guy came back with Matt from Babati, Tanzania in 2004. He has been superglued so many times! Note the leg fracture that was repaired today...

Another thing that hangs in my kitchen...I guess I put things I really like there because it's where I spend an awful lot of my time! My friend Molly made this for me a few years ago and sent it to me during the last weeks of my mom's cancer battle. I love the many things that it represents to me...

I can't remember if this was in 1st or 2nd grade (Tracy, maybe you can help with this one...), but I LOVE this painting the Clara did. I am SO sad that I didn't save Quinn's. It hangs in my kitchen and it makes me happy...

I know I still have yesterday's photo to post. I just realized I need
one for today. I decided to take a second picture of Quinn's desk,
which doesn't look nearly as bad as the last time I posted a picture
of it. Progress...or luck?
