None of my pics today turned out very good, but all 4 kids picked out fabric on Monday and today we sewed it into custom pillowcases for each of them. (trying to find inside activities this week with the triple digit temps!) This was a real test of patience for me, but I'm happy to report that (this time) I did not scream, nor did any of the children cry. SUCCESS!!

I've often said that my mother is getting a special award when she gets to heaven, for teaching me how to sew! I did my share of screaming and crying in frustration as I learned to make clothes for myself. I honestly do NOT know why my mother didn't just refuse to work with me. Kudos to you!
