Millie's class just finished reading Charlotte's Web, so for the last day we had a Charlotte's Web party. The last activity...made a web by throwing the ball of yarn. Each student told what they loved about first grade and then threw it to another person. Then Ms. Smelser told the students to notice how they were all connected by their year together. So sweet.
Smelser? We have some Smelser friends in Indiana! Is that a common name there? I have never known any others....his name is Jake.
