Zane just finished up two great years with Ms. Dorsel...we have appreciated how much she cares for each of her students and wants them to work hard on areas of improvement and be able to excel in areas of strength.

I'm cheating for today and tomorrow...I am using a couple more of my last day of school pictures. I can never resist getting the last day of school picture with my kids and their teachers.

Millie's class just finished reading Charlotte's Web, so for the last day we had a Charlotte's Web party. The last activity...made a web by throwing the ball of yarn. Each student told what they loved about first grade and then threw it to another person. Then Ms. Smelser told the students to notice how they were all connected by their year together. So sweet.

Mary Castle Elementary International Night...each pod was decorated by the classes as a different continent. Pod 2 included a rainforest!
